ABOUT RANDAL FALCONE
I’m Randal Falcone, a Tattoo Artist, illustrator, and writer with over 15 years of experience in tattooing. Born in Baytown and raised in Liberty, Texas, I built my career in Texas before moving to the Huntsville area. I now Tattoo at Cherno Ink, bringing a background in custom illustration and large-scale design to every project.
My work centers on neo-traditional and Japanese-inspired Tattoos, with a particular interest in science fiction, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic worlds, and cosmic horror. I’m drawn to strong silhouettes, bold contrast, and compositions that move naturally with the body. From an individual piece to a full sleeve, I want the finished Tattoo to feel intentional and personal.
Collaboration is part of the process. Bring a story, a character, a rough idea, or a collection of references. We’ll work through the placement, scale, and visual direction together, then build a design that fits both your idea and my approach to drawing.
Beyond the studio, I develop illustrations, stories, and fictional worlds. My writing projects include The Vernith Deep and The Night Banker, and my creative work also extends to the board game Blood & Hustle. These projects share the same interest in character, atmosphere, and storytelling that runs through my Tattoos.
I’m also the author of A Guide to Successful Tattoo Apprenticeships, a practical resource for people entering the craft. An earlier collection, Tattoo and Art Portfolio Vol. 1, is available through Blurb.
